My name is Bea, and I am asexual/homoromantic.

Recently, I realized that I don't have many friends that are ace or aspec. That being said, I'd really like to cultivate a community of fellow aspec people.

So, I was wondering if any aspec people out there wanted to chat or be friends?

I am an adult, so this is MDNI. My rule is that I will only chat/be friends with other adults. Also, I mean no hate to allosexuals. You guys are great, and I truly appreciate and value my friendships with the allosexuals that I know! I just think it'd be nice to also talk to aspec people, as well.

My contribution this Pride month:

I made a queer person eat on a regular basis! I got them to drink water (and juice) daily! I got them to sleep on a healthier (maybe not regular) sleep schedule! And I got them slightly more invested in their hobby!

Who is that queer person? Me! That’s all I had the energy for this month and that’s okay.

Self-care is my protest! I’m gonna outlive those bigots if it’s the last thing I do!

Is anyone else feeling disconnected from non-binary? I’m agender but over the past little while I’ve been feeling like non-binary is too

Broad? Non-specific? Idk it leaves too much interpretation for me even having a gender and I blatantly don’t have one at all.

But also, I don’t know a lot of agender people and the agender community is pretty small. The non-binary community is really big and I have a lot in common with non-binary folks

I’m also thinking about pronouns. I don’t want to be perceived. In fact, I hate it? I hate when people use pronouns for me or just talk to me.

But that might just be my lack of social skills and anxiety😅
